The Hopkinton Independent is the only newspaper in Hopkinton
that is delivered to every home and business in Hopkinton. We
reach more than 6,200 locations via the US Postal Service. The newspaper
is available for pick up at no charge at many businesses in Hopkinton
including: Colella’s, Hopkinton Drug, Phipps Insurance, RE/MAX, Town
Hall and Town Library. The paper is also available at businesses in
Ashland, Holliston, Milford, Westborough and Southborough. The Hopkinton

- Jimmy Fund Fantasy Day at Fenway Baseball Fun Benefits the Fight Against Cancer
BOSTON – The Boston Red Sox will be on the road Aug. 29, but there will be plenty of baseball action at Fenway Park that day as fans take to the field for Jimmy Fund Fantasy Day. Fans can fundraise their way into Fenway and step into the cleats of their favorite professional baseball players at one of America’s most beloved parks.
Fantasy Day offers fans the opportunity to support the Jimmy Fund by fundraising for batting and fielding packages, or purchasing tickets for the Fan Zone to enjoy activities in the concourse area including face painting, and tours of the park. Fans who purchase their Fan Zone tickets by July 23 will also be eligible to win batting and fielding packages. Fundraising minimums for on-field packages start at $750. Fan Zone tickets are $15 per person for those 12 and over, $10 for children ages three to 11, and free for children under three. Family and birthday party packages are also available. For the first time, a new collaboration of various organizations and town committees is working on an initiative called the "Hopkinton Running Festival" which is a collaborative effort of the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Revitalization Committee, Hopkinton Marathon Committee, Parks and Recreation Commission and Hopkinton Athletic Association.
