Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
A resident’s push for the town to take aggressive measures to prevent a solar development on forested land off Frankland Road was not well received by the Select Board at Tuesday night’s meeting.
Also from Tuesday’s Select Board meeting, Jessica Migneault was confirmed as assistant senior services director. She replaces Ashley Shaheen, who left last July for another job. The board also continued its discussions about the upcoming year’s goals for Town Manager Norman Khumalo and Police Chief Joseph Bennett.
Town meetings tonight include the Parks & Recreation Commission (5:30) and Open Space Preservation Commission (7).
