The sixth annual Metrowest K9 5K will be held Sunday, Sept. 19, at the MetroWest YMCA Outdoor Center in Hopkinton. The 5K will start at 10 a.m., and from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. there will be a health and fitness fair and activities, including doggy demonstrations, pet vendors, face painting, entertainment, ice cream and more. Participants receive a race T-shirt, dog tag medal and lunch. Proceeds benefit the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association Charities.
