Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.
Following the success of the mask-optional trial period for COVID-vaccinated students and staff at Hopkinton High School over the first three weeks in November, the School Committee voted 4-0-1 at Thursday’s meeting to implement a second trial period, running Dec. 6-23.
As residents celebrated Thanksgiving this year, the Hopkinton Public Library had on display copies of 18th century documents relating to the Native American settlement on the land that became Hopkinton.
The Tri-Valley League announced its fall All-Stars late last week, and Hopkinton High School was well represented. Leading the way was the girls volleyball team, which won the TVL Large School Division as well as the Division 2 state title.
Town meetings tonight include the Youth Commission (6) and Planning Board (7).
