Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.
At Friday’s monthly Veterans Breakfast at the Senior Center, local veterans shared experiences on many subjects, beginning with an examination of military events that happened throughout history on 11 February. There were in-depth discussions of the heroic exploits of three specific Hopkinton veterans of World War II.
Hopkinton is in the process of beginning a website refresh project and is seeking input from residents. A survey will be open and accept responses until at least this Wednesday.
Leading off the Hopkinton High School sports roundup, the boys wrestling team hosted the sectional meet on Saturday and finished fourth as a team while qualifying nine wrestlers for the state meet.
Town meetings tonight include the Board of Assessors (5:30), Commissioners of Trust Funds (5:30), Select Board (6), Design Review Board (6:30), Permanent Building Committee (6:30) and School Committee (7).
