by | Jun 9, 2022 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

Leading off the Hopkinton High School Sports Roundup, the baseball team went nine innings before Joe Carrazza’s walk-off single beat Norwood and sent the Hillers to the quarterfinal round of the Division 2 state tournament. Boys tennis also advanced to the D2 quarterfinals courtesy of a 4-1 victory over Wakefield.

This week’s edition of the Police Log includes reports of a slashed car tire, a road rage incident on Ash Street, and an assault on Clinton Street.

The annual St. John’s Rummage Sale starts tomorrow. It will take place June 10-11 and June 13-15 from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. each day (no sale June 12).

Town meetings tonight include the Climate Action Subcommittee of the Sustainable Green Committee (5) and the School Committee (7).
