Vigil for Peace planned for Monday at Town Common

Vigil for Peace

Community religious leaders are slated to speak at Monday’s Vigil for Peace, which will be held at the Town Common at 6 p.m.

While the situation is Israel has spurred rallies and vigils over the past month, Hopkinton’s vigil will acknowledge the suffering happening “not just in the Middle East but throughout the world that are having an impact on some members of our Hopkinton community,” according to Cathleen Dinsmore of the Hopkinton Freedom Team. “It is another opportunity for our community to show love and respect for everyone.”

Dinsmore explained that conversations the Freedom Team had with community leaders led to the idea for the vigil, with Sarah Watson of Vineyard Church taking the lead and arranging for the speakers.
