Travel blog recognizes Hopkinton as ‘most peaceful town’ to visit in country

by | Dec 8, 2023 | Featured: News, News

A travel blog recently named Hopkinton the “most peaceful town to visit” in the country.

Hopkinton topped the list in the “12 Most Peaceful Towns To Visit In The United States” article published in The Travel, noting its extremely low violent crime rate and abundance of parks. The communities recognized combined a sense of peace with “low-key attractions,” according to the author.

The piece also stressed that Hopkinton prioritizes the physical and mental health of its residents.

“In addition, Hopkinton provides confidential psychological exams and conducts workshops centered on healthy living and maintaining personal well-being,” the article stated, adding, “It’s a lovely feeling when people find out that others in their community care about them.”

The other Massachusetts community recognized in the post was Sudbury, which ranked seventh. It highlighted an active teen center as well as a stellar school system as attractive features.

The communities recognized include:

  1. Hopkinton
  2. Upper Providence Township, Pennsylvania
  3. Washington Township, New Jersey
  4. Gilbert, Arizona
  5. Irvine, California
  6. Cary, North Carolina
  7. Sudbury
  8. Weston, Connecticut
  9. Lewisboro, New York
  10. South Park Township, Pennsylvania
  11. Surprise, Arizona
  12. Truckee, California

Aunindita Bhatia, the India-based author, did not specify what criteria were used to rank these communities. A November update to the article by content creator Noah Staats added the last two locations.

Uh oh. Those evil folks at HopNews are at it again. Can you believe it? They are calling the travel article FAKE! Written by a bot! I swear those guys at HopNews are such killjoys! But it surely must be legit because the Indy would never be naive enough to fall for fake news. Besides, the #10 rated town is South Park. Everyone knows that town is real. I see them on TV all the time. DUUUH! 🙂

Uh, I was making a lame joke. You know, South Park? Homer Simpson? The article is fake, though. Sorry, folks.
