The Hopkinton Parks & Recreation Department, in collaboration with the Friends of Hopkinton Skate Park and the Hopkinton Freedom Team, is hosting a free Skateboard/BMX Jam at the Hopkinton Middle School outdoor basketball courts on Sunday, April 7, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. (postponed from March due to rain). Representatives from Friends of Hopkinton Skate Park will answer questions about the skate park, skateboarding/BMX and the culture. They also will demonstrate obstacles and basic riding skills.
