Hopkinton hosted a memorial at the Town Common on Friday to commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11. The event was organized by Marine Corps veteran Mike Whalen. Featured speakers included Fire Chief Gary Daugherty, Interim Police Chief Scott van Raalten and state Rep. James Arena-DeRosa. Old Guard New England performed a rifle salute and taps as part of the ceremony.
