Baypath takes part in Mass Saves Adoptathon this week

by | Jul 18, 2024 | Featured

Hopkinton-based Baypath Humane Society is taking part in the Mass Saves Adoptathon, a statewide effort to help adult dogs find their forever homes faster. From July 15 through July 21, adoption fees for dogs over one year will be waived, making it easier than ever for families to welcome a new furry friend into their lives.

“We’ve seen an alarming increase in the number of dogs entering shelters and the length of their stay before adoption,” an announcement from Baypath reads. “The pandemic has hit shelters hard, including Baypath, and we’re eager to team up with shelters across the state to tackle these challenges together.

“This fee-waived adoptathon marks the start of a collaborative approach to bringing positive change to our community. We continue to provide post-adoption support throughout the life of our Baypath a;umni, ensuring great matches and a wonderful adopter experience.”

Among the other organizations taking part in the event are the Worcester Animal Rescue League and the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
