Shelby Aarden, URI ’19, finished second at the Rothenberg Collegiate Cross Country Invitational hosted by Brown at Goddard State Park Oct. 19. She covered the 5k in 17:53.

Alyssa Annenberg, UConn ’21, put up the fourth best scores on both the 1 meter (235.87) and 3 meter (227.02) boards in her swimming and diving team’s win over Southern and Central Connecticut State universities Oct. 20 at UConn.

Julia Burdulis, Trinity ’21, finished 112th in a field of more than 300 at the Connecticut College Invitational Oct. 13. She covered the 6k course at Harkness Memorial State Park in 24:10.

Nic Canal, Cornell ’20, received one pass in his football team’s 34-16 win over Brown Oct. 20.

Anne Comcowich, Holy Cross ’22, rowed on the winning boat in the Novice Four at its fall season opening regatta on Quinsigamond Oct. 13. They completed the race in 19:11.47

Hanna Engstrom, Trinity ’19, had 12 kills, six digs, and a block in her volleyball team’s 3-1 win over Hamilton Oct. 13. Later the same day, she had five kills and a block in a 3-0 win over Lesley. On Oct.  19, she registered seven kills and a block in a 3-2 win over WPI. She had seven kills, a dig, and a block in a 3-2 win over Wheaton Oct. 20.

Kara Finnerty, Bowdoin ’20, scored two goals and assisted on another in her field hockey team’s 6-0 win over Wellesley Sept. 27. She had an assist in a 7-1 win over UMaine Farmington Oct. 3 and added another assist in a 2-1 loss to Trinity Oct. 6. She notched a goal in a 4-1 win over Colby Oct. 7 and scored two goals and added an assist in her field hockey team’s 4-0 win over Connecticut College Oct. 20.

Sara Freedman, Stonehill ’19, made five saves in her field hockey team’s 1-0 overtime loss to Southern New Hampshire Oct. 13. She added six saves in a 2-1 double OT win over St. Anselm Oct. 17. In a 6-1 win over New Haven Oct. 20, Freedman made two saves. She recorded a 6-0 shutout against AIC Oct. 23.

Brian Gaughan, Franciscan ’21, made four saves in his soccer team’s 3-0 shutout of Pitt-Bradford Oct. 13. He made five saves in a 2-1 loss to Penn State-Behrend Oct. 15 before recording a trio of shutouts, 3-0 over Mt. Aloysius Oct. 17; 2-0 over D’Youville Oct. 20; and 2-0 over Pitt-Greensburg Oct. 23, with four saves, eight saves, and three saves, respectively. Heading into playoffs, Gaughan has 79 saves and a 1.14 GAA, and an 11-5 record with six solo shutouts.

Amanda Gilbert, Endicott ’22, had six kills and two digs in her volleyball team’s 3-0 win over Springfield College Oct. 13. In a 3-0 shutout of UNE, she had four kills and a block. She added seven kills in a 3-1 contest over Western New England Oct. 20. She had six kills, 10 digs, and two blocks in a 3-0 win over Wentworth Oct. 23. The win over Wentworth moved the Gulls into a tie for the lead in the Commonwealth Coast Conference.

Isabelle Giordano, Dartmouth ’21, finished 43rd in the sub-varsity race at the New England Collegiate Cross Country Championship at Boston’s Franklin Park Oct. 6. She covered the 5k course in 19:53.

Jack Guelfi, Salve Regina ’20, had one solo tackle in his football team’s 14-41 loss to Western New England Sept. 27. On Oct. 20, he made a solo tackle in his football team’s 30-21 win over Curry.

Molly Hawkins, Haverford ’21, finished 13th in the Jack Saint Clair Memorial Cross Country Invitational Oct. 13 in Philadelphia. She covered the 6k course in 24:59, helping her team to a second place finish.

Lauren Hazzard, Bucknell ’19, took 175th in a field of nearly 300 at the Penn State Nationals Cross Country Meet Oct. 12. She covered the 6k course in 22:51.

Jimmy Hervol, UConn ’19, tied for seventh place at the Firestone Invitational held Oct. 1 and 2 at the Firestone Country Club North Course in Akron, Ohio. The co-captain shot a 3-under 72-68-73=213 to lead his golf team to a sixth-place finish. At the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse from Oct. 7-9, Hervol tied for the individual title and led his team to the win. He shot a 2-over 72-73-73=218 for his best finish of the season.

Jake Kelleher, Salve Regina ’21, made seven passes for 53 yards and rushed for 16 yards in his football team’s 14-41 loss to Western New England Sept. 29. The next weekend, in a 31-8 win over Becker, he made five passes for 112 yards and rushed for 26 yards. On Oct. 20 in his football team’s 30-21 win over Curry, he completed two passes for 19 yards and rushed for three yards.

Beth Koeller, Bowdoin ’22, made a defensive save in her field hockey team’s 2-1 loss to Trinity Oct. 6.

Sam Lehman, Stonehill ’20, made one solo tackle in his football team’s 51-30 loss to Pace Sept. 29.

Jack McGuire, Endicott ’20, finished 34th at the Suffolk Invitational at Franklin Park Oct. 12. He covered the 8k course in 29:24. He helped his team to a seventh place finish out of 19 teams.

Harrison Parsons, Union ’20, assisted on one tackle in his football team’s 28-29 loss to Hobart Oct. 6 and made one solo tackle in his football team’s 29-7 win over St. Lawrence Oct. 20.

Hayden Pereira, Salve Regina ’19, had one solo tackle in his football team’s 14-41 loss to Western New England Sept. 29.

Nicholas Poillucci, Salve Regina ’20, made four tackles, including two solo, in his football team’s 14-41 loss to Western New England Sept. 29. The next weekend, he assisted on four tackles in a 31-8 win over Becker. On Oct. 20 he made two solo tackles in his football team’s 30-21 win over Curry.
