September 11 @ 3:31 pm

The Friends of Whitehall will host an archeological tour of the Hopkinton Springs Hotel on Sunday, Sept. 20, at 3 p.m. The hotel, with its medicinal mineral springs, opened in 1820 as one of the first resorts in New England, attracting the sick and wealthy vacationers. The history of the resort will be presented at the intersection of Spring Street and Lyford Road. Participants then will travel down a slightly inclined trail of about 200 yards to the mineral springs locations for more discussion and questions.
