The Friends of the Hopkinton Seniors’ annual Plant Sale will be held Saturday, May 16, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Hopkinton Senior Center. The sale will feature a variety of affordable tomatoes, vegetables, herbs and flowers grown by the organization’s members in the center’s greenhouse as well as donated plants. Donations from community members — potted vegetables, herbs, annuals and perennials (no common green hosta or orange daylilies) in clean containers marked with the plant name — can be dropped off May 14 and 15 at the Senior Center. Proceeds from the event support Senior Center programs.
