The Friends of Whitehall annual meeting will be held Wednesday, April 5, at 7 p.m. at the Sanctuary at Woodville (Woodville Baptist Church), 249 Wood Street, Woodville. The guest speaker will be Richard Trubiano, supervisor of the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) headquarters in Hopkinton. He will talk about Lake Whitehall and Whitehall State Park and what DCR does for maintenance and preservation. The annual business meeting also will take place, with a review of the past year’s accomplishments and plans for 2023. Anyone interested in the lake is encouraged to join.
