The Friends of Whitehall will host a program called “Birds of Prey” on Saturday, Oct. 9, from 1-2 p.m. outside the Hopkinton Center for the Arts (98 Hayden Rowe St.). The program explains why hawks, owls, eagles, ospreys and falcons are considered birds of prey. The presenter is Kathleen Regan, a naturalist at the Massachusetts Audubon Society Blue Hills Trailside Museum, The program features live birds of prey native to Massachusetts, so attendees should not bring pets and should be seated by 12:55 p.m. For more information, visit friendsofwhitehall.org.
