The Hopkinton Garden Club continues its Online Speaker Series with the presentation “The Art and Nature of Massachusetts Wildflowers” with Sean Kent on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom. During this illustrated lecture, attendees will learn about the amazing diversity of wildflowers in Massachusetts. The lecture will be complemented with incredible artwork and photographs from the collection of the Museum of American Bird Art at Mass Audubon in Canton.
Sean Kent is a field biologist and educator for the Museum of American Bird Art. Sean has conducted research in Massachusetts — Boston Harbor Islands, Elizabeth Islands (Naushon, Cuttyhunk and Penikese), and at Massasoit Community College, Belize, New Mexico and Arizona. Sean has an M.S. in biology from Northeastern University and a B.A. in biology from Holy Cross.
This program is open to the public. Non-members are asked to preregister at register@hopkintongardenclub.org and state their interest in attending. Instructions will be sent prior to the event.
