Greyhound Friends will celebrate International Dog Day with its annual Dog Day of August event on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. All are invited to bring their well-behaved and sociable dogs to meet other dogs, dog lovers and neighbors. The event will feature local vendors selling pet-themed products, dogs available for adoption through the Furget Me Not animal rescue, grooming services and more. Admission is free.
