The Hopkinton Center for the Arts is holding a hand-drawn animation workshop on Saturday, June 22 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Joseph Fontinha, the HCA’s spring exhibiting artist, will instruct participants on how to make their favorite pictures or drawings come to life through animation by using printing, coloring, drawing and mark making. The event is for ages 6 and older. Individuals are encouraged to bring  a smartphone with the Stop Motion Studio app downloaded and a copy of a photograph or drawing. Tuition is $50.
