The Hopkinton Public Library will officially introduce its library of things on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the library’s Ellsworth Room. The library of things is a collection of items — games, electronics, musical instruments, etc. — that can be borrowed or used at the library. The items were made possibly by a donation from the Hopkinton Public Library Foundation and others. Events on Oct. 22 include a knitting demonstration (11 a.m.), a flat weaving demonstration (noon), a snap circuit experiment (1 p.m.), a crochet demonstration (2 p.m.) and a circular loom demonstration (3 p.m.).
