The seventh annual MetroWest K9 5K, a dog-friendly trail run/walk for teams and individuals through the woods at the MetroWest YMCA in Hopkinton, will be held Sunday, Sept. 18, at 10 a.m. The event, which includes music, vendors from the human and animal fields, doggy demonstrations and more, is run by the Ashland Sporting Association and the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association Charities.
