The Veterans Breakfast is held on the first Friday of every month from 9-10 a.m. at the Hopkinton Senior Center. In July, and if the first Friday of the month is a holiday or snow day, the breakfast switches to the second Friday. This month’s breakfast is free thanks to a sponsor. No registration is required. The Oct. 1 breakfast will honor the memory of Tony DeStefano, who served during World War II, and together with Hal Pentheny and Don Hitchings (who both lived in Hopkinton) was a key Corsair technician on Okinawa.
