HHS Sports Roundup: Softball, baseball, boys lax tourney brackets announced

The final Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association tournament brackets were revealed Wednesday.

With a 17-3 record, the Hopkinton High School softball team is seeded seventh in Division 1. The Hillers open with a home game Sunday at 1 p.m. against 26th-seeded Plymouth North (9-11).

HHS baseball is seeded 24th in Division 1 with a record of 14-7. The Hillers’ first game will be at ninth-seeded Natick (15-5). Date and time were not immediately announced. UPDATE: This game will be Monday at 7 p.m.

HHS boys lacrosse is the 20th seed in Division 1. The Hilllers (13-5) will travel to 13th-seeded North Andover on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Three Hopkinton teams are in action Thursday:

— Boys tennis (14-3), seeded 24th in Division 1, will play at ninth-seeded Concord-Carlisle (7-5) at 4 p.m.

— Girls tennis (15-3), the 16th seed in Division 1, will host 17th-seeded Newton North (9-7) at 4:30 p.m.

— Boys volleyball (12-6), seeded 34th in Division 1, will visit 31st-seeded Woburn (12-8) at 7 p.m. (moved up from Friday night).
