Jo DuPont scored in the first half and the Hopkinton High School girls soccer team held on for a 1-0 victory over visiting Franklin in the Division 1 state quarterfinals Saturday afternoon.

DuPont took a back pass from Madison Recupero about 10 yards outside the penalty area and fired a low, one-hopper that found its way into the right corner of the net with 11 1/2 minutes left in the first half.

The third-seeded Hillers (20-0-1) await the winner of Saturday’s game between second-seeded Bishop Feehan and seventh-seeded Acton-Boxborough. Franklin’s season ends at 18-3-0.

UPDATE: The Hillers will play Bishop Feehan on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at Boston College High School.
