Good morning, Hopkinton!
For those new to the site, this post is a daily update we call Hopkinton Today. We’ll have a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights for the coming day and a video or two to brighten your day.
The Planning Board met via Zoom last night, and much of the meeting focused on the proposed commercial solar overlay district, which remains under discussion. The board is scheduled to resume the discussion at another meeting Monday night. Developer Chuck Joseph also checked in to talk about his proposed nine-condominium development at 25-35 Main Street that will include a public parking lot.
Hopkinton’s COVID-19 update for Thursday indicates there have been 71 confirmed coronavirus cases in town, with 53 active, 17 recoveries and one death.
