Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.
The Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce’s annual Holiday Stroll runs tomorrow from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m., and many local businesses are participating with sales, specials, contests, treats and promotions to make holiday shopping easy and fun. The event includes free horse-drawn carriage rides around the Town Common along with ice sculpture demonstrations. Then from 4-6 p.m., the Girl Scouts will host Caroling on the Common, with numerous free family activities.
The Parks & Recreation Commission, at its meeting Wednesday, continued to move forward with its plan to replace the artificial turf at the Fruit Street fields and also discussed a maintenance plan for the adjoining grass fields.
The latest Baypath Adoptable Animal is Casey, a 4-month-old gray tiger kitten who is shy and is looking for a quiet home.
