Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
At last night’s School Committee meeting, superintendent Carol Cavanaugh revealed that the Hopkinton Teachers Association did not approve the memorandum of agreement at Wednesday’s union meeting, but the district and the teachers will meet again today in an effort to finalize a deal as school reopening looms on Sept. 16.
Tents for tomorrow’s Town Meeting have been set up in front of Hopkinton High School. The meeting is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m., with check-in starting at 8:30. Click here for a description of the 22 articles on the warrant. Check HopkintonIndependent.com tomorrow for updates.
Like so many small business owners, Bittersweet Co.’s C.J. Dunne is working hard to keep his doors open during the pandemic. The Main Street cafe/tapas/wine bar is back to serving diners on site, in addition to offering takeout and curbside pickup.
