Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
The latest COVID-19 update for Hopkinton includes the latest vaccine information. According to the Health Department, Hopkinton has been notified by the state that it will receive the Pfizer vaccine, and appointments are being scheduled this week for those in Phase 1. Those in Phase 2 can fill out a form to receive a notification when more appointments are available.
The Hopkinton High School boys hockey team pulled out a dramatic 3-2 victory over Westwood on Saturday, scoring the winning goal with just over a minute remaining. Girls hockey, boys basketball and girls basketball also were in action over the weekend.
Leading off the Schools Notebook, Hopkinton High School will be one of 17 teams to take part in the 12th season of WGBH-TV’s “High School Quiz Show,” which starts in April. Also, a number of residents made the Keefe Tech honor roll.
Morgan’s Harbor to Hill seafood market held a grand opening ceremony on Thursday, and we’ve got photos from the event.
Town meetings tonight include the Board of Health (5:30), Parks & Recreation Commission (5:30), Planning Board (7) and Woodville Historic District Commission (7).
