Hopkinton Today: Monday, July 11

by | Jul 11, 2022 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

As part of the Main Street Corridor Project, roadway reconstruction will continue this week on Main Street from the Fire Station and the Wood Street intersection. A single lane of alternating traffic will be used as needed, and eastbound traffic will be detoured from Main Street to Pleasant Street to Hayden Rowe Street and back to Main Street.

The town’s highway manager announced that crack sealing work is scheduled to begin Tuesday on 16 roads. The work is expected to take two weeks to complete, although the schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions. One lane of traffic will be open at all times.

Town meetings tonight include the Board of Health (5:30), Sustainable Green Committee (6) and Woodville Historic District Commission (7).
