Good morning, Hopkinton!

For those new to the site, this post is a daily update we call Hopkinton Today. We’ll have a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights for the coming day and a video or two to brighten your day.

COVID-19 has claimed the lives of a number of current and former Hopkinton residents, something that especially hits home for their family and friends. To learn more about these people and the interesting lives they led, check the Independent’s obituary section.

The Hopkinton High School girls tennis team held a rolling rally last week to recognize the team’s senior players, who were deprived of their final season due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Planning Board has been busy of late, and tonight at 7 the board will meet again. Among the items on the agenda are a continued public hearing for the Hopkinton Village Center condominium project at 25-35 Main St. and site plan reviews for modular classroom additions at three of the town’s schools.
