Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.
Hopkinton’s latest COVID-19 update shows 26 active cases in town and includes information on Hopkinton High School’s mask policy update — which takes effect today — booster shots and COVID prevention and treatment.
Hopkinton’s Project Just Because is hosting a program in which people can “adopt” a family over the Thanksgiving season. A donation of $60 sponsors one family that struggles daily to get a meal on the table, let alone a holiday meal. The program already has raised more than $11,500, with a goal of $15,000.
The MetroWest YMCA’s Family Outdoor Center in Hopkinton will host its first annual Pumpkin Hunt and Archery Shoot on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 2-5 p.m. The event includes a family-friendly archery competition (equipment provided) for ages 6 and up, and a pumpkin hunting course for ages 10 and up.
Town meetings tonight include the Board of Health (5:30) and Planning Board (7).
Photo of the Day: Following Saturday’s heavy rains, a rainbow formed over Interstate 495 on Sunday morning.
