Hopkinton Today: Monday, Sept. 12

by | Sep 12, 2022 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

As part of the Main Street Corridor Project this week, due to electrical conduit work on Hayden Rowe Street, southbound traffic will be detoured around the Town Common via Ash Street to Park Street and back to Hayden Rowe.

The annual PolyArts festival returned to the Town Common on Saturday and drew a big crowd. We have photos from the event.

Community Covenant Church (2 West Elm Street) will host a Fall Plant Sale on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 8-11 a.m. The sale will include inexpensively priced perennials, specializing in cottage garden favorites.

Our latest Business Profile highlights Kumon Math and Reading Center of Hopkinton. “My goal is to help each child develop strong academic skills and a love of learning, and gain the confidence to excel beyond the classroom.” says owner Pamela Banson.

Town meetings tonight include the Board of Health (5:30), Sustainable Green Committee (6) and Zoning Advisory Committee (7).
