Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.

Sophomores Joe Carrazza and Pavit Mehra recorded two goals and an assist apiece as the Hopkinton High School boys hockey team skated past Ashland, 6-2, in a Wednesday afternoon game at Loring Arena in Framingham. The Hillers improved to 7-2 heading into Thursday morning’s finale at Medfield.

The latest edition of the Police Log includes the arrest of an Ashland man who led police on a pursuit from Hopkinton into Ashland, along with reports of a number of motor vehicle accidents and an individual finding a bank bag containing money.

Town meetings tonight include the Planning Board Affordable Housing Working Group and Affordable Housing Trust join meeting (6) and a School Committee executive session (7).
