Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
The Conservation Commission at its Tuesday meeting approved by a 5-0 vote a notice of intent filed by the Massachusetts Laborers’ Training Trust Fund for utility work, subject to the submitting of paperwork and an order of conditions discussed during the hearing. it’s related to an expansion planned at the Laborers Training Center on East Street.
The Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of the $50 gift certificates to local restaurants as part of the raffle that was held following last month’s Restaurant Week, and we’ve got the list.
Crews worked Wednesday morning to replace a valve at the intersection of East Main Street and Cross Street. Water and Sewer Department manager Eric Carty cautioned that due to the nature of the work, there could be some water discoloration in the area.
