Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
The Hopkinton Fire Department reports that dry conditions led to a brush fire on the Charles Trail yesterday. Water-Sewer manager Eric Carty notes that because of the fire hydrant use, any residents noticing discoloration should flush their cold water line to help clear the pipes.
Hopkins School had a pickup day Tuesday for fourth-graders to get student items, and there was a special guest helping deliver the packages to the vehicles as they drove up. Pickup day for fifth-graders is today.
The Hopkinton Democratic Town Committee will hold its caucus tonight (6:30 p.m.) for the June 29 Town Election. For more information, click here. The Republican caucus is tomorrow.
Also tonight, the School Committee meets at 6 p.m., although the public portion of the meeting starts at 7.
