Hopkinton Today: Tuesday, Oct. 20

207

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.

The proposed Lincoln Street/Cedar Street Extension development was the primary focus of Monday’s Planning Board meeting, with the discussion centered on whether the area would be better served with two cul de sacs or a through road.

There is an American Red Cross blood drive today from 2-7 p.m. at Faith Community Church (146 East Main St.). Donors are asked to make an appointment by visiting RedCrossBlood.org or calling 800-RED-CROSS.

The Hopkinton High School Class of 2022 has reopened its Hillers face covering fundraiser due to popular demand. The masks cost $11 each and will be available for purchase until Wednesday.

Town committee meetings tonight include the Board of Assessors (5), the Select Board (6), the Conservation Commission (6:30) and the Design Review Board (7).
