Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.
During Tuesday’s Select Board meeting, Health Director Shaun McAuliffe announced that he and his staff “continue to observe improvement in the Town of Hopkinton,” but the town still has a ways to go to get to a point where he would recommend lifting restrictions. In other Select Board news, the Lykan Bioscience TIF was moved forward, and an update was provided on the Center School re-use plan.
Baypath Humane Society’s annual Fur Ball Gala will return in person on March 26 at the Marriott hotel in Newton. This year’s event has the theme of “A Night in Paris.”
The next monthly trail volunteer day, led by the Hopkinton Trail Coordination and Management Committee and the Hopkinton Trails Club, is set for March 5 at the Whitehall Conservation Area.
Town meetings tonight include the Upper Charles Trail Committee (5), Parks & Recreation Commission (5:30), Sustainable Green Committee (6) and Historic District Commission (7).
