The School Committee, at its meeting last Thursday, begrudgingly approved a reduced budget for the next fiscal year, $780,000 lower than the budget the group approved March 10, right before the COVID-19 crisis closed the schools and led to a reexamination of spending.
The latest Police Log includes numerous cases of residents reporting unemployment fraud, as the nationwide scam hits home.

The Select Board has scheduled a meeting for tomorrow afternoon at which it will consider applications for temporary outdoor restaurant seating. The potential list of applicants includes Cornell’s, 110 Grill, Start Line Brewing, Bill’s Pizza and Zio’s Quattro.
