Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
The Planning Board on Monday considered two preliminary subdivision proposals that brought concerns from both the board and the public as a “bait and switch” to preserve the zoning for a potential solar array next to the Springwood development off Chestnut Street.
The Hopkinton-based nonprofit Mental Health Collaborative is hosting a free foundational workshop on Monday, June 14, for parents and concerned adults on mental health basics as well as strategies on how to care of yourself, youth and others you care about. Check the Hopkinton Youth & Family Services Facebook page for details.
Registration for the 2021 fall season of Hopkinton High School athletics is open on Family ID. The registration deadline is Aug. 13, but parents are encouraged to register their child as early as possible in order for the coaches to make plans for tryouts and communicate information to prospective players.
