Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
The latest edition of Hopkinton Police Log is posted. The highlight is a man tracking down a cat that had hidden in a sofa he had thrown away.
The Hopkinton Farmers Market announced that it will open June 7 and will be held every Sunday through Oct. 11 on the Town Common from 1-5 p.m. The market will feature only food vendors at the start, as per a mandate from the Board of Health, but hopes to bring back artisans soon. Customers are encouraged to pre-order for quick pickup, or pay by touchless credit card or with exact change to minimize contact. For more information, visit hopkintonfarmersmarket.com.
Video of the Day: According to the YouTube intro, this Rube Goldberg-esque contraption called the Swish Machine took a month to construct and another month to get it to work successfully. So there.
