Main Street Corridor Project update: Final paving of west end scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday

A.F. Amorello & Sons may begin paving next week, according to an a Main Street Corridor Project update released Friday.

The notice from the town states that Amorello has scheduled tentative dates for final paving of the west side of the project for Wednesday and Thursday next week.

Paving limits extend from the Fire Station to just past the Wood Street intersection. Work may impact traffic and require lane and sidewalk closures along with potential detours. Per town policy, lane closures are limited to 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Alternating traffic will be used downtown between 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Delays are expected and detours will be needed.

No work is scheduled for Tuesday in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.
