Sidewalk repair work begins Wednesday

The Department of Public Works announced that scheduled sidewalk work on two streets will begin this week.

In a notice to residents, highway manager Mike Mansir noted that sidewalk repair work for Grove Street and Hayden Rowe Street will start on Wednesday. Construction will continue to July 25, and work hours will be 7 a.m.-5 p.m.

The DPW will be working on Grove Street from the entrance of Hopkinton Middle School to the traffic lights on Hayden Rowe Street.

The work on Hayden Rowe Street continues from Grove Street down to the entrance of Hopkinton High School.

Drivers and pedestrians are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the area. Dates of work are subject to change due to weather conditions.
