Tuesday’s School Committee meeting canceled as district awaits teachers’ vote

Tuesday’s School Committee meeting was canceled, as the committee waited for the Hopkinton Teachers Association to meet and vote on the “last best offer” from the district before the first day of school tomorrow. Both sides indicated there would be no delay to the start of the school year despite the failure to reach an agreement.

The School Committee has another meeting scheduled for Thursday night. The School Committee also will have office hours tomorrow from 7-8 p.m.
