ERA Key’s Towne donates $1K to Baypath

Donna Towne, a Realtor in the Westborough office of ERA Key Realty Services, recently donated $1,000 to Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton.

Towne adopted her cat, Misty, from Baypath 13 years ago and has supported the organization for the past eight years. In addition to attending Baypath’s annual Fur Ball fundraiser and participating in the fall Paws and Claws run/walk at Hopkinton State Park each year, she has supported the organization financially through the ERA Key Charitable Trust.

“I usually make a donation each year from the charitable trust for $500,” Towne said, “but since this year took such a toll on them due to cancellations of their events, I increased my contribution to $1,000. I also donate items such as dog and cat beds, and pet food and toys to give to others who are adopting pets.”

The ERA Key Charitable Trust has donated more than $400,000 to area charities since its inception in 2004.
