Snow forces closures, postponements: Schools, sports, town offices, funeral

by | Jan 7, 2022 | Featured: News, News

Friday morning’s snowstorm caused Hopkinton schools to be closed for the day. In addition to classes, all after-school activities in the buildings have been canceled, including athletic events.

Town Hall and all municipal offices, including the Hopkinton Public Library and Senior Center, are physically closed. Services are available remotely, as the town indicated that staff with the ability to work remotely will do so.

Callanan Cronin Funeral Home announced that the funeral Mass for longtime Hopkinton resident Frederick Murphy has been postponed to Monday at 10:30 a.m.

Saturday’s monthly trail volunteer day also has been postponed.
