Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 5-year-old Benny.

Here is Baypath’s description of Benny:

“Benny arrived in America last May after coming all the way from Korea! At first, he was very nervous of everything that was new in his world. He has come so far, learned so much and gained so much confidence!

“Benny recently joined the Baypath family, and he impresses us every day with his bravery! He has been walking nicely on leash and loves his time with people! He is a playful. quiet guy who is happy to spend time with you once he knows you. He is very food motivated, and a few treats will help you win over his trust! We believe he would do best living in a home on his own or with a female dog companion!”
