Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

The Tri-Valley League recently announced its All-Stars, and Hopkinton was well-represented after a memorable fall campaign. Hopkinton had four MVPs in Sean Golembiewski (boys soccer), Georgie Clarke (girls soccer), Camille Perlov (field hockey) and Craig Salois (boys cross country).

The Hopkinton Middle School Drama Club presents Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” on Dec. 9 and 10 at 7 p.m. in the HMS auditorium.

The next monthly Veterans Breakfast is this Friday from 9-10 a.m. at the Hopkinton Senior Center. The local American Legion post has volunteered to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and blessing of the meal.

Town meetings tonight include the Parks & Recreation Commission (5) and Trails Coordination and Management Committee (7:30).
