by | Mar 2, 2023 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

Leading off the HHS Sports Roundup, the Hillers boys hockey team made quick work of North Attleboro on Wednesday night, opening postseason play with a 9-0 rout. Boys basketball saw its season come to an end with a 71-67 loss to host Brookline.

The Conservation Commission at its meeting Tuesday night unanimously decided after some debate to hold two instances of fines in abeyance for violations of erosion controls regarding the proposed Turkey Ridge Estates development, noting that substantial progress has been made to stabilize the site since the last hearing three weeks ago.

This week’s Police Log includes one arrest along with reports of two men making a scene outside a bar after arguing inside, fallen trees during a recent storm and a missing dog.

The Hopkinton Health Department announced it will host COVID booster clinics every Tuesday in March. The Moderna bivalent vaccine is available for ages 6 and older.

Town meetings tonight include the School Committee (7) and Open Space Preservation Commission (7).
