Main Street Corridor Project update: Sidewalk work continues

by | Jul 16, 2023 | Business, News

As part of the Main Street Corridor Project this week, workers will focus on installation of conduit and bases for site lights from Muffin House Cafe to Ash Street. Work will take place in the excavated sidewalk area.

Additionally, crews will work on installation of the granite curb as well as grade and pour concrete sidewalks from Muffin House Cafe to Ash Street.

On the west side of the project, workers will grade and pour concrete sidewalks.

Working hours for the Main Street Corridor Project are 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. No detours, one-lane closures or road closures are allowed from 7-9 a.m.

This schedule may change due to weather and existing conditions found while performing the planned tasks. For the most up-to-date information, visit the town’s project website at hopkintonmainstreet.com.

Tired of this constant construction work. It’s been going on much too long and continuing to tie up traffic constantly. Please try to move it along a little quicker.
    Thank you.
