Roadwork continues on multiple streets in town

by | Aug 25, 2023 | News

The town’s Department of Public Works provided an update on roadwork for five streets that started earlier this month.

Affected roads are: Appaloosa Circle, Ridge Road, Breakneck Hill Road, Glen Road (from Lumber Street to Breakneck Hill Road) and Gibbon Road.

From Aug. 28-Sept. 1, crews will adjust structures to grade and adjust sidewalk ramps.

From Aug. 30-Sept. 5, workers will excavate and install asphalt binder course in cul de sacs and intersections where the cold-in-place recycling equipment is not workable.

From Sept. 6-8, the top course of asphalt will be installed on the full length of each project.

Work hours will be approximately 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Dates are subject to change due to weather conditions.

Drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes when possible.
